FEATURING LIVE MUSIC FROM FAITH IN THE GLITCH

We're turning our warehouse space into a cyberpunk Chuck E. Cheese's complete with games, PUZZLES, and of course, prizes.

What games, you ask?

  • Buddy Combat Training: A 3v3 laser tag deathmatch where nobody dies because of the insurance implications.

  • VR Pod: Dodge cubes, discover info and choose how to deal with the Big Boss at the end.

  • Motherboard of All Hacks: a time sensitive switch board that puts the controls directly in the hands of you and your friends...no pressure.

  • LUX Site Hack: prove your hacker skills by breaking (into) the LUX site with Voytek.

  • PShell: confront the most polite command line interface to ever be configured and decide: will you return the favor? Or brute force hack it to death?

  • Piñatas: Smash Tech. Get hacks.

  • UVX Raid Training: Experience the majesty of the UVX - An interactive film screening that allows users to make cumulative realtime decisions that alter the course of movie.

  • Also your first drink is free. Hackers love free drinks?

This event serves as the third stage in the Future Proof universe of interactive narrative, and follows Please Party Thank You (our vaporwave dance party with interactive quests), and A Death Well Died (a murder mystery featuring puzzles built into exotic artifacts). It's enjoyable as a stand-alone event, but if you've been to our previous parties... you probably stopped a few paragraphs ago and already bought a ticket.

THE STORY SO FAR:

The Buddy Resistance needs you to help them stop the evil Luxury Universal eXperience Corporation (LUX). LUX is still trying to acquire the mysterious cube, and The Buddy Resistance, a group of lucky misfits who have escaped LUX's corporate grasp, is holding a recruitment party to amass an army of hackers to crack into the cube and make sure that never happens.

But there's a twist. A LUX-loyal group called The Troubleshooters is attending the event as part of a peace accord. They also want the data in the cube, but are determined to do it through non-invasive means. Which group will you side with? How will you alter the course of events?
